Booking a professional photographer over a keen amateur should also ensure that he or she turns up equipped properly to photograph your wedding. Unlike the enthusiast, the professional will have pro equipment and, most importantly, two of everything as even the best equipment can go wrong.

So you have now decided you like a photographer's work - what next? Always make an appointment to meet with them. In this meeting you should get to see samples of their work. Make sure you are shown some albums where all the photographs come from one wedding. It's very easy to display a wonderful album with just the best pictures from each wedding.
