Wedding Photographer Bristol

My name is Nick Williams a creative wedding photographer Bristol, I have photographed over 1000 weddings in the Bristol area and across the South West. I have been passionate about photography since the age of 12 when I got my first SLR. It was a film, Praktica MTL50, and I loved it. Learning the skills of a photographer on an old manual focus film SLR went a great way to understanding the theory behind modern day photography. Having the ability to take the camera off auto at your Bristol wedding to make your photographs shine is one of the many things that makes my work stand out. My love for weddings

Having photographed over 1000 weddings in and around Bristol, I’m often asked: “Are you not bored of them?”. The simple answer is “no”. I may have photographed over a 1000 weddings but I can honestly say that I have never photographed two that were the same. Most of my working week is spent in my office so on your wedding day, I plan to have fun.

My Promise

So many photographers believe the wedding photographs are the most important part of the day. That’s nonsense. The most important thing is that you, your friends and family have a wonderful day. My promise to you is that I will photograph your wedding in such a way that you enjoy every memory I capture.

I’m often asked what equipment I use so, for those interested, I use two cameras: a Canon 1DX and a 5D MKIV. With these, I use five lenses: 15mm f2.8 fish eye, 17-40 f4, 24-70 F2.8 MKII, 70-200 f2.8 MKII and a 40mm F2.8 prime. I also carry three flashes and all the lighting and camera stands that I will need on the day.

Looking Forward

February 2018

The month of February is not the most popular for weddings and yet I always get to photograph a few. This year is no different three weddings to look forward to. The first one is just south of Bristol at Rookery Manor for Kerry and Jamie, this is followed by my second wedding Salena and Chris who are getting married in the wonderful Lewtrenchard Manor. My third and final wedding will be in the center of Bristol at the registry office with the reception at the Bristol Glass boat. The rest of the month I will be editing photographs, designing albums as well as meeting clients for future weddings. I will also be photographing an Awards dinner in the Assembly Rooms in Bath. So for what is traditionally a quiet month, it looks like I will be quite busy. Keep checking my latest News section of my website for updates on all of the above.
