Wedding photographer Bristol and across the south-west,
My name is Nick Williams a Wedding Photographer Bristol and across the south-west of England and Wales. Hello and welcome to my website. Over 1000 couples have used me to photograph their Bristol wedding celebrations over the last 18 years. I use a mixture of styles. Including documentary, reportage and artistic wedding photography. This allows me to photograph the varied personalities of the 60 – 70 couples I photograph in Bristol and across the South West every year.
I will capture all aspects of your day. Having your hair and makeup done in the morning. Your wedding dress and flowers, along with all the little details, that makes your wedding day unique to you. I will not forget the boys; we will grab some fun photographs of the groom, best man and ushers. It will then be on to photographing the most important part of your day, the wedding ceremony. Once you are married, I like to capture all the excitement and fun with no formal photographs to start with. Mingle with your guests; let them congratulate you whilst I capture the excitement in a reportage style.
After capturing all the group photographs you have requested, it’s time for me to have some fun. It’s time for the wonderful shots of you both as a married couple. The photography does not stop here. No, I stay to photograph the reception including the speeches and cutting the cake. Then it’s time to party starting with your first dance. This is a rough outline of what I do at a wedding. However, every wedding is different so why not get in touch to see how I can tailor a package that right just for you.
So, the best wedding photographer in Bristol is Nick Williams? That’s for you to decide.

About Me & My Photography:
My name is Nick Williams a creative wedding and event photographer in Bristol. After serving 13 years in the Army I felt it was time for a change. It was time to pursue a career in what had always been a hobby. I have been passionate about photography since the age of 12 when I got my first SLR camera. It was a film, Praktica MTL50, and I loved it. Learning the skills of a photographer on an old manual focus film camera went a great way to understanding the theory of most modern-day photography. Most of all, having the ability to take the camera off auto at your Bristol wedding to make your photographs shine. This is one of the many things that makes my work stand out. Wedding photographer Bristol, and across the south-west. Having photographed over 1000 weddings in and around Bristol, I’m often asked: “Are you not bored of them?”. The simple answer is “no” because I love them. I may have photographed over a 1000 weddings but I can honestly say that I have never photographed two that were the same. Most noteworthy a lot of my working week is spent in my office, so on your wedding day, I plan to have fun.
So many Bristol photographers believe the wedding photographs are the most important part of the day. That’s nonsense. The most important thing is that you, your friends and family have a wonderful wedding. My promise to you is that I will photograph your wedding in such a way, that you enjoy every memory I capture on my camera.
I’m often asked what equipment I use to photograph weddings. So, for those interested, I use two cameras: a Canon 1DX and a 5D MKIV. With these, I use five lenses: 15mm f2.8 fisheye, 17-40 f4, 24-70 F2.8 MKII, 70-200 f2.8 MkII and a 40mm F2.8 prime. I also carry three flashes and all the lighting and camera stands that I will need on the day. Finally my trusted Mac book pro.
